Does starbucks insurance cover birth control and gyno visits ?
Im going to be working for starbucks starting next week i think, and would like to know if in there medical coverage if it covers birth control?
Please people who have actually worked or least know someone whos worked there ( i know it takes 90 days to be eligible )
when you start working, they should give you a package of their benefits and most likely a copy of your health benefits when you are eligible.
when you receive this, 1st look under the exclusions to see if listed. a lot of companies will not cover birth control.
most likely the gyno will be covered, but you will need to see what the deductible is and co-pays. say the company has a 500 deductible, then you will be out of pocket till you reach that amount in doctor visits. also, they may have a in-network or out of network doctors, so you may need to verify the gyno is in-network.
you may have to call the company that insures starbucks to verify.
